PDFs and marks
Selected PDF bytes, rendered page previews, filenames, typed mark text, pointer strokes, uploaded mark images, placement coordinates, generated PDFs, and ZIP contents are processed in your browser. QuillSign does not send that document-derived content to an app server, analytics, ads, checkout, authentication, or feedback.
Temporary batch data
Active batch data stays in browser memory for the tab. Resetting the tool or closing the tab releases it. Downloads you save are controlled by your browser and device.
Local recipes
Pro users can explicitly save named recipes and mark assets in IndexedDB on the current device. Records are separated by the verified account user ID. They are hidden after sign-out or account change and are not synchronized to another device. Use the recipe controls to delete individual records. Clearing site data in your browser also removes them.
Account and checkout
Sign-in, entitlement checks, sign-out, and checkout use the shared Cashew Crate authentication service. Those requests may contain account, session, plan, and order details, but not PDF content or marks. Payment processing is handled by the checkout provider.
Consent, analytics, and ads
The consent choice is stored in localStorage and a cashewcrate-cookie-consent cookie scoped to .cashewcrate.com. Google Analytics starts in denied consent mode and can use cookies only after acceptance. A separate content-free session event uses a random identifier held in session storage until optional cookies are accepted; it can include your account ID when you are signed in. Ads load only after ad consent and do not load for Pro users. Other content-free events may record a coarse file-count bucket, review completion, an adjustment, an export category, a named Pro control, or checkout start. They do not contain filenames, exact document counts tied to identity, page content, marks, coordinates, document hashes, or document-derived errors.
Feedback
The feedback panel sends the category, title, description, and app slug. It also sends your account email when you are signed in, or an optional email address and screenshot when you add them. Do not include PDF text, filenames, marks, document details, or document screenshots.
Your choices
You can reject optional cookies, use the free batch flow without an account, reset temporary data, delete saved recipes, sign out, or clear QuillSign site data in your browser. For privacy questions, email [email protected].
